Confirmation

Confirmation is a Sacrament of Initiation, and the final step towards full membership within the Catholic Church.  A person who is confirmed, receives the Gift of the Holy Spirit, which empowers her/him to continue the work of Jesus, a process which was begun at Baptism.

Confirmation is NOT a graduation, but a continuation / a new beginning, of a life-long journey.  We are NEVER done or finished learning and growing in our faith.   We are "Life-Long Learners", continually experiencing and growing.

If you are interested in preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation as a high school junior or as an adult, please contact Mary Peters, Faith Formation Coordinator, at 468-7848.

For the high school juniors, we offer two sessions for Confirmation prep; a Fall session which is now in progress; and a Spring session which will start with a parent/student meeting on Jan 20 and classes beginning on Feb 10.

To our Current Candidates:  If you want more information on the "GIFTS & TALENTS" project, go back to the home page and open the "library" tab.
