Love Life Program
Love Life is an ecumenical, respect life program that provides diapers, infant furniture, clothing and supplies to low-income families with new borns and toddlers. They receive referrals and work closely with local hospitals, churches, and social service agencies and organizations in the community.
Love Life began at St Joseph's Parish in Green Bay. It has since grown and we now have an east side distribution site at Peace United Methodist on Schwartz St. There are several churches involved in helping collect items for the program.
St Philip does a huge collection drive in October (Respect Life Month) and at Christmas through our "Giving Tree". They collect the following:
- Disposable diapers (especially small and medium)
- New or like-new clothing for infants and toddlers
- Baby shampoo and lotion
- Receiving blankets and baby afghans or quilts
- Baby formula and cereal
- Rattles and small stuffed animals
- Baby towels, cash cloths and bibs
- Cribs and strollers
All through the year you will find a "Love Life" basket in the back of church... as we continually collect any of the above items. We'd like to thank everyone for their support through the years!
