St Philip Parish is one of the two parishes in Green Bay which has a rather large Hispanic population. Our 12:00 Mass on Sundays is in Spanish and a Spanish bulletin is provided with information on parish activities. The parish is presently linked with St Bernard Parish. Fr Dave Pleier is the pastor of the two parishes. Fr Tony Cirignani is assistant pastor at St Philip and ministers to the Hispanic population, along with Mrs. Norma Chavez and Sr Patricia Vanden Bergh. We welcome new members into our community. You can become a member by calling the Parish Office.
The leadership group in the Hispanic Community meets regularly with parish staff and gives advice on matters concerning the community. Several of the members are assisting the Diocesan "Disciples of Christ" leadership training program. Two members will graduate this year.
The parish conducts several programs jointly with St Bernard Parish, for exammple the Religious Education and Sacramental Preparation Programs. Several of the staff work at both parishes in the administration of the parish and the finances.
